The gate to magnetism lies at the edge of your darkness.
A while back someone gave their impression of what it means to “become a magnetic monster.” They retorted, “Sounds like you want me to turn into some kind of cult-like mutant. Are you trying to turn me into the lord of the flies?” No, this is not the case.
I don’t want an interpretation of word choice to be taken as a license to be evil. What I truly mean by “magnetic monster” is… you’ve committed to delivering magnificent experiences without any world-weariness. But the road to this isn’t easy.
Choosing to become a magnetic monster can raise some red flags in people. There are many cultures that still don’t regard monsters as something you should revere. Yet I’m going to make a case for why becoming a magnetic monster is something we need during these times. And at the end… I’ll give you a pathway on how you can do that, too.

Think of it like this: you reading this very article at this very second, is fortuitous. Amor Fati. You gotta love fate however which way you found this article. And what’s cooler is you wouldn’t have clicked if you had no interest in unleashing the monster within you. And if you were immature you’d have flagged this very website.
So it’s interesting, isn’t it? If you’re here, there must be more people like us who are ready to embrace their dark side in a responsible and productive manner. And if we can all unite with a common cause, there’s a chance to bring about a more balanced and peaceful world.
It’s important to look at this call to transformation with a wide-angle lens. The power of intention will help you to use your powers for good. Because you are very powerful indeed. You define that power with your intent and your imagination. And I want to help you harness and wield it for the next millennium.
The true definition of a monster
There are horrors beyond life’s edge that we do not suspect, and once in a while man’s evil prying calls them just within our range. — H.P. Lovecraft
What do you think of when you imagine a monster? Probably either something mythical, wicked, and dauntingly large or some cute, weird creature from the animated movie. But before that movie was released, we never really associated monsters with affection. Our minds have evolved only recently around what we think of when we connote a monster.
A monster is something we typically think of as a harmful entity. But to many around the world through cultural storytelling, we became accustomed to monsters as either the worst thing of our nightmares or as a huggable plush toy sold to a child. It’s a perception of our imagination. Our definitions of monsters have changed forever since we’ve been able to look at them with a new context.
Either a monster commits the worst crimes possible, or they make mistakes we can all chuckle at. We can sometimes reflect on our own clumsiness and disparities as a result. But let’s face it, we still think about monsters with this black and white mentality. There’s nothing that really falls into the gray of where reality is. Maybe for the last several thousands of years, we’ve only experienced the nightmares of our minds. And we can still feel this tinge of apprehension of what might happen if they came true.

The dark side of the past millennium
The real world is where the monsters are – Rick Riordan
We usually define monsters as something that we don’t want to associate with. They’re a menace to civil society and we can’t seem to enjoy our lives with them in the picture. They haunt us when we least expect it. They push more negative emotions within us than we can hope to bear.
For years, our ancestors have interacted with each of the darkest parts of the human psyche and soul. They’ve conjured up stories that have passed down from generations. And they still live within our bloodstream, even past Hollywood and horror. And even now, we see the darkest aspects of humanity on repeat on our primetime propaganda channels.
These monsters are those ferocious beasts that should be caged or worse. We’ve created jail cells and security centers and guards to be mindful of this kind of loose monster in our worlds. We should be so grateful to tiptoe within the world. Afraid that we might be swallowed by the terror of a rogue demon. A demon we forget to see inside ourselves.

The monster within all of us
The scariest monsters are the ones that lurk within our souls. — Edgar Allen Poe
To look within and find the darkest parts of ourselves is no short order. No one, save a select few, want to look deep within and acknowledge the tainted part of their innocence. These few have been hurt very early in their lives by human monsters that came before them.
Children are not the only ones afraid of the dark and monsters. But now we see adults who cannot bear their existence in the light. They fear sharing the monsters they carry inside. So we walk amongst each other, never truly knowing one another. Or even knowing the danger they can be to themselves and others.
But to look within as to how something that fears and pains you is the only way to reach peace. You cannot reprimand a mutant. You must understand that it is different for a reason and that it has its place in the world. It’s not so much of a taming as it is a strong embrace of the light inside that frightens us.
Embracing the monster in our culture
The unconscious is not a demoniacal monster, but a natural entity which, as far as moral sense, aesthetic taste, and intellectual judgment go, is completely neutral. It only becomes dangerous when our conscious attitude to it is hopelessly wrong. To the degree that we repress it, its danger increases. — Carl Jung

When you can relax into your fear, it becomes a lot easier to label your own mind for the culprit it really is. Much of what we come up with in our overactive minds is a figment of our imagination. It’s all suppressed emotional experiences that are still living in file folders buried in our bodies. They’ve been sitting there since the moment we compartmentalized them before processing them.
You can say you have a really good hold on it. But it’s at that point that you could be waiting for the wretched and evil thing to occur. Like a ticking time bomb. And in our current Western society, there’s not much that supports a person to embrace their inner monster. Our culture would rather torture us with fear of exclusion and scapegoating. They’d rather do that than clearly label the humanity behind the roughness.
We live in fear of the monster, so it is left up to the individual to make sense of what is going on inside of their soul. To take a stand against the machine, we need to process this part of ourselves and not to wreak havoc on society, but to be a stronger person for it and a stronger contributor because of it. Then and only then will we be able to create an idea beyond our own minds. It’s the monster that is actually our light and we must help it to shine bright and far from within.
Channeling the monster to a higher plane

You should be a monster an absolute monster. And then you should learn how to control it. — Jordan Peterson
Have you gotten in touch with your monster? Can you taste it and feel it and see what it wants? Can you see how it’s looking to wreak havoc any time you put a pacifier on it?
It won’t listen to you and your qualms of the “right” thing to do. It just yells like a searing guttural volcano looking to erupt if you ignore it. It’s at this phase you need to learn how to channel it.
Sure physical exercise or a creative hobby can help, but ultimately, it’s looking for an entryway into the world. So like any good parent who reared a child, you must find a path to the best outcome for your monster.
Now most people are not gifted to think strategically through scenarios of all kinds. Most people don’t know enough about the world to recommend an outlet for this monster. And most people will not even now how to help you find the grace of expression for your monster to make its message magnetic and reachable.

The monster is magnetic
Until you can free those final monsters within the jungle of yourself, your life, your soul is up for grabs. — Rona Barrett
Let’s get this out of the way: the doors of your soul are open for anyone to come inside if you have no monster to keep guard. You will never be able to seek the safety and security within the world if you keep your monster caged within you. Those with a large monster who freed it from its chains can begin to settle into this world. This is not to say the monster within will run rampant, but it will choose a different strategy.
This strategy will simply permit the monster to accept what it is wholly and expectedly in their character and be validated by their keeper. You are the keeper. Whether it be too sensitive or cocky or any kind of flair, this will allow the monster to be free and to use its power to magnetize. These attributes are the very adjectives that we can proudly put on a display banner and stand behind as the message we endorse.
The type of characters who will be attracted to these displays are of a similar kind and some will be of an opposite breed. They come to be recognized as whole, and the other comes to learn to become more whole. In this way, monsters are never one-sided, they are always holistically seeking to encompass and transcend to a higher plane. But it will be only for those who dare to enter.

The monster will rule the next millennium
It’s a frightening thought that man also has a shadow side to him, consisting not just of little weaknesses and foibles, but of a positively demonic dynamism. — Carl Jung
Many will not understand why to think so far in advance. They think the world is crumbling as we know it. How can we even see what the future will hold? Is it remarkably insensible to predict the next millennium?
Nothing could be further from the truth. For those who know their shadow and the work that comes from integrating all of you, they will know what they are not aware of will certainly be their downfall. So as we may struggle with impossibilities, we bare our teeth with grit. We use the power of our minds to imagine a better future and work tirelessly to create it.
While many who came before us struggle to even find their true monster, the ones alongside us still squander their time to the ways of a dark and blind path. This is the opportunity that lies therein for the millennium monster.
The coming thousand years are going to be left to those who can understand how to break, warm-up, and move a crowd. This kind of power will produce masses of people enchanted to act in swift degrees by the very thought of dominion that resonates with their unspoken truth. This is the power of the monster within many of the current and coming generations.
They will have taken the long road to become self-aware and to do the grunt work while patiently waiting for the moment to execute again and again. Their job will be to recognize their power from its smallest place, cultivate it and protect it, and then use it for good. Because with great power comes great responsibility.
Social responsibility of monsters
If you’re harmless you’re not virtuous, you’re just harmless, you’re like a rabbit; a rabbit isn’t virtuous. It just can’t do anything except get eaten! That’s not virtuous. If you’re a monster, and you don’t act monstrously, then you’re virtuous. — Jordan Peterson

The world does not need more manipulative neurolinguistic programmed individuals with no credence as to how to use their social intelligence for the betterment of the human race. There is a deep need for guidance that comes from significant souls who take this work on as their own. Even more, there is a deep need for these individuals to partner with one another to rise as the cream. These kinds of pacts will show you what you never dreamt of seeing where you missed it.
And these magnetic monsters will know they can attract their own kind to help them advance their roaring messages beyond dimensions of space and time. If they employ a well-thought-out plan, they can use their monsters to benefit society to degrees we still have yet to measure. This is the essence of culture hacking for good and heart marketing of the deepest and ingenious of its time.
There are very few people who will give no cares about what you have to say or do. They do this regardless of the wisdom that drips from your jaws. They will even criticize your message to the highest degrees. The simple fact for this is that their truth is hidden from their own sight. And you so bravely display it. It is up to you to decide the beliefs you will bring into the next millennium. It is up to you to decide where along the political forays you will sway.

Magnetic monster brands and the political spectrum
Monsters are real, and ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win. — Stephen King
As companies take on more human brands in the coming decade, the responsibility will lie on their shoulders. They will need to be decisive about their political leanings and beliefs. All humans are political beings regardless if they recognize or refuse it. They must deal with a slew of issues that come with recognizing their uniqueness in a societal machine. Our level of visibility is the display of the widening political spectrum we enter consciously or otherwise.
And our voice must be the howl to be heard amongst the slosh of shrieks. The stronger your voice, the easier your message will spread out of recapitulation. When you are no longer on the physical plane, your message will be the ultimate test of the work you have done for the next millennium.
And this is not a competition of the voices that will scream the loudest. No, this is not the competition of messages or cacophony, but a system of coopetition that will symphonically occur among parties. And this can only happen with you taking the step to design an experience worthy of a monster brand.

Magnetize your world by being a magnetic monster brand
You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star. — Freidrich Nietzche
By now, you know you are seen and heard and you understand the call to rise. This is the call that will take you to heights you’ve never dreamed of. This is the call that will urge you to elevate your essence and your identity. And the only way to do this is by taking things one step in front of the other.
You must do the hard work to reveal your magnetic monster brand unto your own self. Follow the call to build its expression in this reality. Work to bring about the change you know you can bring. To become strong, you need a strong course of action.
Action will pull forth your vision. And that happens with self-awareness, creating valuable experiences, serving others, and possessing an unwavering commitment that will not deter you from becoming a magnetic monster. There is no question that your strength will be tested. But the question now is, are you doing all you can to imagine a better future for the world for your monster and all the other magnetic monsters to live in?
